Fruit of the Spirit Christian Church...welcomes you.
"Go therefore and bear fruit....every tree that does not bear fruit shall be cut down." Luke 3:8-9
Welcome to a new and different kind of non-denominational Christian Church. I'm sure that all new churches say that when they are first formed. But we truly are! like the first New Testament Churches we meet in homes at 6:30 pm on Wednesday evenings to help people transition from what they might be doing on Sunday mornings. We are not burdened with a building. Our worship is simple. It involves prayer, Bible study, maybe a little singing, sharing, and exploring ways to put God's Word at work in our lives. We have a hearty fellowship that always involves something good to eat. We observe the seasons of the church year. We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Wednesday of the month. There is some ritual which is meaningful to us because it is not done mechanically. So we have wedded simple liturgical with sincere evangelical... to form something surprisingly new. Most of all....we believe that Christians should not just go to church or ponder the Lord's teachings... going through the motions of being religious... but to bear fruit, to put his message in our hearts to produce changed lives, to live differently because He lives within us. There is nothing intimidating about our gathering, so feel free to join us without fear. We welcome people of all faith backgrounds and no faith background. We are passionately Christ centered and know there is no life without Him.

Some organizations are happy to announce that they are "adapting to a changing world." We are not. We are taking God's Word and hoping to change an adapting world!
Next Wednesday, March 5, 2014, we will meet at 1718 Tumbleweed Circle, West Bend, WI at 6:30 PM to celebrate ASH WEDNESDAY, the beginning of the Christian season of Lent, a 40 day time of reflection and confession. All are welcome! "And I turned my face to the Lord seeking mercy and forgiveness as I fasted, sitting in sackcloth and ashes." Daniel 9:4
Fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control (Galatians 5:22-23).
